Lauren Gula, Senior Manager, Gender Equality, UN Global Compact
Lauren Gula is a Senior Manager at the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative. Lauren joined the UN Global Compact in 2009 and has provided strategic direction and leadership to the organization’s social sustainability portfolio, including gender equality.
Lauren led the growth of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), a joint initiative with UN Women, spearheaded the development of the WEPs Gender Gap Analysis Tool and has managed a wide-range of projects focused on human rights and inclusion.
Lauren is currently leading Target Gender Equality, a global impact initiative focused on increasing women’s representation and leadership. Lauren has an M.A. in International Affairs from the New School in New York and a Bachelor’s degree in International Development from Dalhousie University in Canada.
