The human connection is integral and matters greatly for Chandran. As the Founder and Managing Partner for Matrix360 (formally Matrix Search Group), Chandran has built an advisory platform for talent and workplace strategy in the Canadian real estate and development industry over the past 18 years.  The Matrix360 brand is an extension of Chandran’s core principles and drive. His mission in business is guided by his people-centric approach: to build the future of the workplace where diversity is embraced, inclusion is celebrated, and equity is the outcome.

His tenacity to exhibit passion, drive, and knowledge on the importance of gender parity is fundamental to his DNA.  As a strong advocate and champion for gender parity and inclusion, in 2015 he co-developed and co-founded the #SheWithHe initiative for the commercial real estate and development industry. The initiative focused on the importance of men and women working together in partnership for gender parity. Further, in 2016 he led the creation of Matrix Talent Connectivity, an exclusive internship program to empower emerging leaders entering the commercial real estate and development industry.

Chandran  has systematically positioned his team to deliver the best service, conducting business through care, combining emotional intelligence with capital intelligence – and empowering others to do the same. His actions have earned him recognition in the industry for his work, receiving an RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award in 2016 and his company being recognized with a Corporate Citizen of the Year Award from the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) Toronto Chapter in 2015, and the Sponsorship Award from the REIC Toronto Chapter in 2016. In addition, his company is an Advisory Partner for the GCNC Gender Equality Leadership in the Canadian Private Sector Project, and was also recognized as finalist for Canadian HR Awards 2017 Award for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion. Chandran is a strong champion for diversity and intersectionality- that includes women, people of colour, LGBTQ2+, indigenous people, emerging leaders and seasoned professionals that represent the fabric of Canada.
