In 2017, Canada celebrates its 150th Anniversary and 15 years from now we will have achieved the Sustainable Development Goals that came into effect in 2016. To celebrate this, the Global Compact Network Canada is preparing a publication, containing a collection of letters to Canada’s future generation of leaders!
Share your words of wisdom and let your vision be heard and documented by writing a one-page letter offering insight into the ingredients of what has created the country you love today, as well as how you imagine the future 15 and 150 years from now after we have achieved the Sustainable Development Goals.
We are requesting letters from Prime Minister Trudeau and current private and public leaders, as well as future leaders and everyday leaders from across the nation and of diverse backgrounds, ages, and representing various cultures, religions, beliefs – including refugees, school children, immigrants, indigenous people, and members of the LGBTTIQQ2S community.
We are hoping to inspire creativity and imagination to make the Canada we want possible! All letters will be published on the GCNC website and we hope to get all of Canada to participate via social media using #CA150Letters.
