Frank Vettese was elected to a second term as Deloitte Canada’s Managing Partner and Chief Executive in 2014. He is also a member of the Deloitte
Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) Executive team. He previously led both Deloitte’s Global and Canadian Financial Advisory businesses.
Frank has been a long-standing champion for inclusion and diversity, as evidenced by his role as Chief Inclusion Officer of the Canadian firm. He is the co-founder of the Canadian Women’s Initiative, has launched ground-breaking development programs for emerging women leaders, such as StepUp, and was a strong proponent for the appointment of women to the DTTL Board. He was recognized as the 2016 Catalyst Canada Honours Champion in the CEO/Firm Leader category, a very public recognition of his personal commitment to inclusion, and he was also recognized by the United Nations for his demonstrated commitment to the advancement and empowerment of women in the workplace, marketplace, and community.
Frank’s leadership goes beyond his professional career, as an active member of various community boards. His professional and community service includes Trustee of the International Valuation Standards Council, member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Schulich School of Business, member of the Catalyst Canada Advisory Board, co-Chair of the David Cornfield Melanoma Fund, Chair of the Trustees for the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship, and former co-Chair of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Ball.
Deeply involved in educating future leaders, he is also an accomplished lecturer for universities and professional associations.
