An interactive training program for sustainability professionals to learn how to report on the SDGs.
“How do I integrate the 17 global goals into my company’s sustainability report?”
Have you asked this question to your colleagues since the inception of the SDGs a year ago? There have been a lot of queries, particularly in this reporting season, from our corporate sustainability network on how to embed the SDGs into sustainability reports and how to report on your current and future SDGs-related activities.
We are excited to offer a full-day training starting with Market Opening at Toronto Stock Exchange to celebrate the first inaugural SDGs Reporting Training. This training session is to provide you an opportunity to learn from industry leaders and experts on how to report on the SDGs through an interactive learning experience with your peers.
The sponsors and first registrants will have the opportunity to join the Market Open at the TMX to mark the inaugural SDGs Reporting Training!
Why SDGs Reporting Training?
Benchmark and improve your current practices
You might already know how to embed the SDGs into your organization’s corporate sustainability report, however, it is always a better approach to discover and see if that is the best way. The SDGs Reporting Training will disclose what others in your industry are doing and at the end of the program, you will have an overview of the most progressive best practices to report on the 17 global goals.
Show you where to start and learn from expert sources
There are already numerous SDG consultants, publications, and tools out there. But where should you start? With our connection to the United Nations and over 13,000 CEOs in 170+ countries, you can count on us to find the most relevant tools, materials, and best practices. Furthermore, we have invited renowned industry leaders and experts on the topic, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), to guide you in this learning process.
Prepare for the changes in global and national landscape
Global stock exchanges are making changes to address the SDGs. The Brazilian Stock Exchange (BM&FBOVESPA) launched an initiative to “Report or Explain for the SDGs”. BM&FBOVESPA will ask listed companies to disclose annually whether they publish sustainability or integrated reports taking the SDGs into account. Such changes may soon be reflected in other stock markets and it is to your advantage that you stay prepared to comply with such initiatives.
All SDGs Reporting Training participants will receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the program!
During the 1-Day Training Program, you will…
Share experiences and learn from the successes and failures of your peers.
Engage in an interactive learning experience that will showcase emerging best practices.
